THE TYPOS’ ANNUAL OUTING. ■* ^ -At Mrs. Roache’s, Manuels.At a meeting of the Typographical Union, held last evening, it was decided tc» hold their annual outing on Wednesday* 23rd inst. In the event of the arrival of Priuce (iconic, and the consequent celebration, the Union outing will be postponed a week. The place chosen for the rc-union is Mrs. Ronche’s (Kearney's), at Manuels. The place has all the facilities for entertaining a party, and a good time may be anticipated. Foot-ball, cricket and boat-racing will be features in the programme, ^At a meeting of the committee of the Avalon Association, held last night the following gentlemen were appointed to constitute the Red Section of the Association : —W. G. Martin, captain; Ja*. Noonan, Secretary; K. Davey, S. Willar, W. Goudie, H. G. Herder, F. Davey, Wm. McKay, W. J. Herder, K. Noonan, James Vey.[j ’ V ' /--- ■} JThe City Club have formed their crew to rowi the amateur race in the regatta. The selectionis a good one,.as will be seen by the followingnames;—W. Rennie, Frank Barnes, H. R.Hayward, Fred Hayward, W. Martin, GeorgeMaKay. The crew have been practising for a few evenings, and^puif well together. Charles WeM/er will, y. is likely, be coxswain of the Iri9.
