D. 1873, Jn*fuvorof L. O. Sterns and against B. D. Buford for the sum of Four Hundred and Thirty-five dollars, and Forty-four Dollars and Thirty cents costs, to me directed against the property of the said II. D. Buford , I have levied upon and shall expose at Public Sale to the highest bidder, on, 10th day of July,A. I. 1873, at 2 o’clock F. M., at the Court House Door, in Baker City, Baker county, Oregon, nil the right, title and interest ofB. \K Buford in and to the following described property. U-\vit:That certain Saw Mill, situ \te at Koontz Creek, on the line Of the Malheur, Burnt lUver Consolidated Ditch and Mining Company’s ;Ditch, known as the Burnt Biver Ditch—said Mill is about eight miles west of the town of Eldorado, Baker County, Oregon, together with the machinery and appurtenances thereunto belonging; Also, all the right, title and interest of B' the said B. U. Buford jn and to that certain -.f Flume, situate In Quartz Gulch, Baker county, Oregon, and used to work what is nown as the Sherwood claims; also, all that certain mining ground known as the Sherwood ground, and more particularly described as follows; Ten Fiat Claims of Two Hundred feet square each, joining wiittt is known as the Goodwin and Emerson ground below; also, one Flat claim of Two Hundred feet square, Joining the Sherwood ground above, and known as the KoouU claim; also, Three Hill claims on the east side of Quartz Gulch, front ing Two Hundred feet each on the above mentioned Flat claims, and extending back tothe Summit of the Hill; also, Tf'ret* Flat claims on Williams’ Flat of Two Hundred feet square, Joining Del any lt;fc Moore’sclaims; also, Three Hill claims on thewest side of Quarts Gulch, fronting Two Hundred feet each on the line of Sherwood’s Flat claims, and extending backto the Summit of the Hill; also, Two Flat claims known us the Jack Scott claims: also; Two Gulch claims of Three H undred feet each on Poney Gulch.AU the rigid. title and Interest of the said BL D- Buford in and to the above described property on or after the 9th day of April, 1873, or so much thereof as may be sufficient, will bo sold as aforesaid, to satisfy said execution and costs, and accruing costs.Baker City, June ii, 1673.JAMES H.
