--, I IThe colored people of Indianapolis and vicinity will celebrate the Fourth of July by a grand pic-NIC excursion from Indianapolis to Greencwtle over the St. Louis and Indianapo-lit Railroad. The excursieu will leave the Union Depot at about eight o'clock a. m., accompanied by the Capital City Band. On arriving at the plc-nic ground, an address of welcome will he delivered by Silas Shewcrmft, Esq., of Greencaatle, who will be responded to by J. G. Britton, Esq., of Indianapolis. Afterward short addresses will be made by Rev. W, H. Anderson of Vigo county-, Indiana; Revs. Miles and Richard Bassett, of Shelbyvllie, Indiana; J. 8. Hinton, Esq., Rev. R. McCary, Dr. Dairson, of Indianapolis, and other invited speakers. Fart of the day will be spent In the old-fashioned pic-nic style. The round trip will cost adults one dollar, and children fifty cents. It will return to the city between five and six o’clock. A festival will be held Is the basement of the Second Baptist Church In the evening. Admission at the doer, ten cents.mlt;fcelt
