Id3!(iaii11The road is to opened one hundred fed wide, by cutting and clearing oil’ all the timber, logs and underbrush, leaving in stump more than one foot above the level of the earth, and by grubbing the tree.-; and under growth from 30 feet of the centre: hut on that part of the route which is lo-rated on the state road, now opened, no grubbing or cutting of stumps i« to be done.The work must be completed by the 30111 day of November, 1831, and on theday of sale* a bond, with at least two goodsecurities, will be required of the contractor, conditioned for the faithful performance of his undertaking.When the work is completed, the contractor will he entitled to scrip, or a certificate, exhibiting the amount due for each section of tile road, which will he receivable in payment at the sale of the lands donated for the road, or redeemable out of the first moneys arising from the sale of these lands, and it is expected, and confidently believed, that a sale of the lands will be ordered by the Legislature, so as to meet the demands of the undertakers, at the time the work is to be finished.So far as the Michigan road is located on state roads, tnesc roaas win constitute-the centre, and in extending the width.the improviilenls must be made on eachside, with the exception of a few crooks inthe present road, that will be pointed outon the day of sale.IJlt;Individuals in submitting their bids, will pursue the following form:rnt,ariteI will complete section No.of the Michigan road, for dollars and will give A. 13. , C.
