4/22/18% - The town of Woodland Park is rapidly growing. Thirty new and substantial buildings having been erected within the last 30 days. The town, aside from the splendid mineral surroundings, is the point on the Colorado Midland railway from which the stages leave for the West Creek district, Torrington, North Cripple Creek and West Creek, Douglas county being reached from this direction by the Pemberton-Moore and the West Creek stage lines, from three to five hacks being loaded with passengers every day. - The Denver Republican.
