Rebels place fifth BELLEVILLE, Dr. — The Argonne Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps took fifth place in a five-team field in com petition here Monday The Rebels could only score 56.95 points in a field of tough competition. Defending World Open and U.S. Open Champions the Madison Scouts, from Madison, Wisc., walked away with first scoring 77.95 points. Second was the Oakland Canada Crusaders with 70.05 points. Third went to the Royal Crusaders from Finneyville, Penn. with 68.50 points, while home team the Black Knights of Belleville were fourth with 62.25 points. Tonight the Rebels will move to Alton, Ir., and will com pete against the same teams in the Belleville meet.
