.The cheerleaders of North Hagerstown High School re cently attended a cheerleaders workshop at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Fa There the girls learned new cheers, pom-pom routines, crowd control and inotiation, gym nastics Mmounts and balances, a mint troup cheer, jumps and other cheerleading techniques. Trey also partici pated in a talent show in which they won first place, and constructed and presented a pep rally. 200 Cheerleaders The program conducted by Nation - Wit? Cheerleaders Association of Saltsbury, Pa. Attracted to cheerleaders from three states. Attending from North High were ‘Carol Cochrane and Margaret O’ Boyle, Local Finalists Trophies and ribbons were awarded to the outstanding squads and a Miss Nation- Wide Cheerleader intestant was chosen. Both Margaret and Carol were finalists and he competed with other cheerleaders throughout the country for the lly of Miss Nation - Wide Cheerwader.
