Kim Tinney presided at the chuckwagon and the crew was well fed. One morning while they were camped on the old Cam Williamson place, Jake Hensor made the mistake of kicking ont of Kim’s hounds and the fat was in the fire. Took most of the crew to keep Kim from removing Jake’s gizzard with a butcher knife. No amount of apologies or sweet talk could calm Kim’s temper. He quit. After a week’s sulking and fishing in Little Arkansas, Kim returned and the line was completed without further incident.
