ResidentHonoredJames Michael DiDonato, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. joe Navratil of this city and Dallas was selected outstanding student of the Colonel James P. Lyle Junior High School at Otis Air Force Base, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Jim, master of ceremonies for the end of school assembly, was awarded for having the highest achievement in mathematics and was also presented a gift by the faculty1 for services rendered during the school year. Jim, a member of the National Fonor Society, alsolettered in football, basketball, and baseball at Lyle Junior High and received his Junior Life Saving award after completing Fed Cross lessons at the air base. A member of the Teenage Bowling League at Otis, Jimmy also has time to be a Patrol Leader for Troop 35. He is an accomplished accordian player, having studied in Alaska and Massachusetts.DiDonato is a former Caldwell resident and will be remembered by many friendshere.
