1Ladies pictured here are daughters of pioneer citizens of DeWitt who attended the “old brick school” in north DeWitt which was used prior to erection of the large school building in 1866. This building is now a residence located at 502 13th Street. Mrs. L. C. Arey, whose mother is one of the ladies pictured, supplied the photograph and identification.
