CLEAR LAKE (UPI) — Jack Buschbom of Mobridge walked off with first place in the bareback riding competition at the Crystal Springs Rodeo here Friday through Saturday. Buschbom scored a total of 345 points. He was followed by Ken ney Badger of Pierre with 366; Pete Frederick of Halliday, N.D., with 336; and H. B. Johnson of Huron with 332. In other events, Saddle brone — Lynn Taylor, Miles City, Mont., 352; Jim Tesch er, Mendoza, N. D., 350; Ken ‘Badger, Pierre, 344; Tom Tesch er, Sentinel Butte, N. D., 342. Bull riding — Denny Wall, Miles City, Mont., 170; Bob Sheppard, El Paso, Tex., 169; Spike Bron son, Pierre, 166; Bob Skoberg, Sacred Heart, Minn, 166, Calf roping — Bud Ferris, Las Crusis, N. M., 10.6; Alan Young, Albuquerque, N.M., 11.2; Tuffy ‘Cooper, Monument, N. M., 11.4; ‘Ronnie Live, Stillwater, Okla., 11.5. Bulldogging — Doyle Cobbler, Ft. Worth, Tex., 18.0; Don Bran don, Lake Wood, Colo., 33.4; Smo key Jensen, White River, 8. D., 134.1; Don Merrell, Sioux Falls, 45.3. Some 10,000 persons attend ed the three performances of the RCA approved rodeo.
