21 Native High In College Prep:“Who Am I?”This is the theme of this year's Bureau uf Indian A ffairs-Uni versify of Alaska program for native students atended by 21 students from eight high schols throughout the state*The program, equivalent to a full time summer load, started last week It consists of one Freshman course at the University, a beginning course in Antropology, and an orientation course taught by Bureau of Indian Affairs educators.The development of man will be studied historically* psychologically, and philosophoeally with the view to assisting the students adapt to university life and higher education. *Of the 21 students, twelve are from Mt. Edgecombe High School, two from Sheldon Jackson, two from the Covenant High School at Unalakleet, one from East Anchor-y Programage High School, one from Nome High School, one from Copper Valley High Schoul, oiu- from Bethel High School, and one from Sitka High School. •The students, selected on the basis of college potential are:From Barrow, Edna Ahgeak, Charles Brower. Charles Hopson, George Ilia. James Itta, Elizabeth Nashaknik; Quinhagak. Billy At-seriak; Sitka. Delores Crop ley. Joyce? Walton; Emmonak* Pete Don-lun, and Emil Okitkun,Unalakleet* Helgc Eakon, Timothy Towarak; Anchorage. Irene Kale-rak; Nome* Floyd Kugzruk; Elim* Maggie Nagaruk* Elizabeth Sac-cheus; Fairbanks, Steve Pederson;Bethel. Martha Jane Sara; and Teller, Roger See tot.The program which started on June 24 will continue for six weeks or until August 2.
