Louis Freiberg, Rapid City at torney and chairman of the Penn ington County Republican Party, was named to a four - year term on the cement commission. He suc ceeds John Potter, also a Rapid City attorney. Reappointed to five - year terms were Curtis Mateer, Pierre, state Aeronautics commission; Mrs. Dur ette Darling, Lead, library com mission; W. ©. Wasser, Rapid City, real estate commission, and James Bane, Brookings, veterans commission, Renamed to four year terms) were Wilfred Blatherwick, Sioux Paris, board of engineering and architectural examiners; Arthur £. Munck, Pierre, and Walt. Taylor, Rapid City, water resources com mission. The latter two are subject to senate confirmation. William §. Morrison, Mobridge, was reappointed to a three - year term on the state board of equaliza tion, subject to senate confirma tion. Others named to three - year terms on varies agencies are: J. W. Sorenson, Sioux Falls, board of accountancy; L. A. Hall enbdeck, Iroquois, banking commis sion; Glen Thoreson, Pierre, bark ers commission; Gregg M. Evans, Yankton, board of examiners in basic sciences.
