Local Scouts at Waverly CampTroops 47, 40, 75 Attend IngawanisCamp Ingawanis, the Wapsipin-icon area council’s Boy Scout camp near Waverly, opened the second session for the 1955 season on Sunday afternoon, June 26. Over 200 Scouts and leaders were in attendence at the camp during the first week.'Activities opened Sunday evening with a “cowboy campfire” -in the council fire area. Program for the rest of the week will include boating, canoeing, swimming, riflery. archery, mo-skeeio, scoutcraft skills, nature, and evening campfires.Wednesday evening was the troop “stunt night” held in the new Main lodge. Parents were invited to attend this activity.Scouts from Independence attending camp the past week included:Troop 47 — Myron Palmer, Arnold Palmer, Ronnie Cameron, Donald Whigham, Gary Ogdahl, Kenny Hoffman, James Greenley, Bill Eggers, Bobby Eggers, Ronnie Grooms and Kenneth Whigham.Troop 40 — Norman Crandall,.
