Name, Camp Peter Gedda, Honors Memory of Bes semer Man. The Citizens Military Training camp at Fort Brady, near Sant Ste. Marie, has been named Camp Peter Gedda, in honor of Corporal Peter Gedde of Bessemer, who was killed in action in France during the World War .The camp was given his name by authority of Major General Frank Parker, U. S. A, commanding the Sixth Corps Ares. Peter Geddia was a member of Company D, 39th Infantry, when he was killed Sept. 28, 1918 He was honored by the late President Poin care of France by award of a Cer tificate of Gratitude, Corporal Gedda was the son of Mrs. Caroline Gedda of Bessemer,
