n ReadersMEMORIAL TABLETS UNVEILED A T CLUBTwo bronze tablet* presented by the families of Mrs. Catherine R-Fraunfelter and Mrs. Phoebe I* Vlgnos were unveiled Thursday morning In the music room of the Canton Woman’s club at an impressive service of which Mrs. C. C. Rarrlck had charge. Mr#. Fraunfelter and Mrs. Vlgnos were charter members of Sorosls and looked forward to the time when a Woman’s club could be established In Canton. The charter memorial memberships were taken out by their families thus lending substantial aid to th* project in which they were Interested. The organization of th* Woman's club In Canton was originated and fostered by Sorosls under th# leadership of Mrs. C. C. Barrick. The tablets were unveiled on th# third anniversary of the founding Cf the Woman’s club.*Mrs. Rarrlck gave a short addrsss calling attention to the fact that th# club was I he outgrowth of th# thoughts and efforts of th# pioneer club women of Canton.Beautiful wreaths of red clover blossoms, the Sorosls flower, were hung on the tablets. Th# Fraunfelter wreath was presented Jy Mrs. S. S. Senter. representing the Central Committee of the Woman’# club and the Vlgnos wreath wa# made and presented by Miss Blanchs and Ml## Alice Vlgnos. daughter# of Mrs. Phoebe Vlgnos. Dr. James Fraunfelter and Miss Lucille Vlgnos, grandchildren, unveiled the tableta Mr#. Carrie Theobald, a llfe-loqg friend of Mr#. Vignoa, delivered the eulogy. She recalled th# olub work don# with Mrs. Vlgno# In II* T, her work In the Columbian Reading Circle and a# a charter member of Soro-sia y^ten Mra Kate B. Sherwood was 'president.Mra Vlgnos was born in Louisville, she finished her education at a private school In Columbue and taught for several years before her marriage. Mrs.- Theobald told of Mra.
