BESSEMER BRIEFS.Correspondence of The Gazette* BESSEMER CITY, .Tune HO. Tho ladies of the Civic Leaague entertained a large number at the homeof Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Durham ' Thursday evening, June 2fith. The lawn was brilliantly lighted for the occasion. Misses Carrie Mauney and Nell Sholar presided at the punch ! bowl. Delicious refreshments were served, consisting of cream and cake. Various games were played during the evening. The occasion was ono that will long be remembered. The guests were: Mr. and Mrs, R.
