HARRY GLENN, BALI, PLAYER MEETS ANOTHER PAINFUL IN JURY AND IS AT HOME. Harry Glenn, of Shelburn, catcher for the Vincennes team of the Kitty League, and star center on the Sulli van Athletic Basketball team last winter, is home with a broken thumb the second accident of this nature this season. Harry has made a big hit in Vincennes, as evidenced by the following clipping from a recent issue of the Vincennes Daily Capitol: “Glenn continues to catch brilliant ly and to hit the ball. Yesterday he took two skyscrappers the average catcher would let get away. Glenn is not only the best all around catch er of the league but the best who ev er wore a Vincennes uniform. Right now he looks better than Grover Land in Grover’s best days in the Kitty.” Fingers Torn From Hand. Monday Bert Howard, who is em ployed as blacksmith at Reliance mine, suffered an accident that re sulted in the loss of two fingers. He was engaged in operating a drill press when his glove caught in the drill, and being unable to withdraw his hand from the glove, it was drawn around the drill and the third and fourth fingers were torn out at the knuckles.
