Russell is one of the most thriving little towns in North W estern Manitoba, it is situated at the terminus of the Shell River branchof the M. N. W. Rv. To thewwest and north we find one of the best wheat districts in Manitobaand the farmers are all doingwell. To the east and south we find a grand mixed farming district, any amount of grazing lands, and aO 4 ’good locality for oats. Farmerso *in these ['‘arts are making more money easily, than in exclusively wheat growing sections. We have a capital opening for some three or four hundred good rustlers, who will take hold and settle on some of the vacant land (for there is any amount of it, and cultivatethe land and raise stock. Wchave many men here who came in without one cent, and to day they own comfortable homes, and have healthy bank accounts. We take more first prizes for stock and produce, at Winnipeg Exhibition than any other county in Manitoba., and there is keen competition at Winnipeg. W e wantsettlers though and those who want to get a fair start in life are urged to take a look around the neighborhood.
