Wallau continued critical at the hospital this afternoon.Mr. Wallau was taken to the hospital several weeks ago for a minor operation. He rallied quickly and was well on the Way to recovery when he suffered a slight attack of pneuinvonia. Since that time his condition has not been satisfactory and he suffered several alarming sinking spells.His friend's have not lost hope, however, despite his advanced age. That siavne indomitable spirit which carnied him successfully through many stormy business and political battles during his long and illustrious career has not deserted him-in that greatest of all fights he is now waging.
