Mrs. Tverstol has sad news from her daughter Emma. She thought she had regained her health, but had a relapse before Christinas and sent for her two sisters who were in Duluth; they arrived two days before Christinas and found her some better. She remembered several of her friends Christmas with a woodland scene, of large boulders in a rapid stream, a small waterfall, and herself seated on one of the largest boulders. It is a scene near Denver, Col., and is very picturesque and a'fine^work of art.
