Pierce Cline, president of Centenary college, announced that 32-year-old Jake Hanna, director of ithletiea at Gladewater, Tex., high school, had been signed to a three-year contract as football coach and athletic director.Hanna, former Centenary football star, will succeed Curtis Parker, who resigned recently. He will assume hiB duties immediately.He has been at Gladewater for the pust five years but previously coached at Franklin, Lit., Corsicana, Tex , and Leesville, La., after playing some professional baseball with the Shreveport and Jackson, Miss., clubs.
