Sergeant William J. Brandon, son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Brandon, 2219 Lindstreet, sent a wireless mes sage through Boston Wednesday that he was homeward bound from France on the U. S. S. Mongolia, 1500 miles out at sea. He enlisted in Company CQ. Thirty-seventh engineers, Febru ary 21, 1918 and was trained at Fort Myer, Va. He sailed for Trance some time in May and has seen active ser vice.
