The remainder of the road, from Went Union southward through Independence, in nearly all graded, and the iron will bo laid early in the spring.The Pacific branch of the same railroad was completed in the fall to a point west of Vinton called Dysart, which is about forty-five niilos from Cedar ltapids. Quite a nourishing town has started at Dysart, affording a convenient market for a country hitherto depondont upon railroad facilities at a groat distance, and very inconvenient. This road will bo pushed in a westward direction in the spring, either toward Eldora, in Hardin county, or toward Liscotub, in Marshall county.The Milwaukee and 8t.
