M. Blanchard, the celebrated aeronaut, is about erecting a large building, in the rear of the lot occupied by Governor Mifflin, for the pUrpofe of an aerollaticai Laboratory. Here he propofes to exhibit the balloon with which he afcended on the 9th of January, and alfo another, much larger, limilar to that with w hich he crowed the Rritifh Channel. Some interefting pieces of niechamfni will alfo be kept in this philofophical Laboratory. When the materials are fully prepared, notice will begiven the public, and a fecond fubfeription will be opened for a 46th afcenfion, which it is hoped will be ftich as not to difhonour this great capital, the Athens of America, and where every fpecies of genius ought to meet its reward.
