Funeral services for Clarence Nickens, 55, world war veteran, who died at Marion, Indiana, Suan day, were held here today at the Williams Funeral Home at 2 o’clock with Rev. Elmer C. Cast ey, officiating. Interment was in Masonic Cemetery and the local post of the American Legion was in charge of the services at the cemetery, Mr. Nickens suffered a stroke of paralysis at Fort Ogden, Utah, and has since that time been con fined in a government hospital. His body was brought to the Wil liams Funeral Home Wednesday. He is survived by a number of distant relatives in this communi ty and will be remembered — by friends who knew him when he lived here many years ago.
