LEWIS B. FOUTS Sept. 25, 1924 - Jan. 26, 2008 Lewis B. Fouts, 83, Peru, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Cass County on Sept. 25, 1924, the son of David and Inez (Bowyer) Fouts. On Aug. 31, 1946, he married Rosalee (Hes song) Fouts, who survives. He served in the Army during World War II and was in the Bat tle of the Bulge. He graduated from Chili High School in 1942 and from Purdue in 1949. He re tired from be ing a Howard County school principal. Lewis enjoyed camping, read ing, puzzles and spending time with family. He was a member of Pipe Creek Church of Brethren. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Linda (Steve) Klepinger, Rochester; son, Scott (Myra) Fouts, Dumfries, Va.; grandson, Tony (Julie) Klepinger; grandson, Ryan (Hannah) Klepinger; granddaughter, Christi Jamey) Callane; grand daughter, Katie Fouts; grandson, Jordyn Fouts; and grandson, David Fouts; three great-grand children, Emma Klepinger, Na talie Klepinger and Josie Callane; brother, Dwight Fouts, Kokomo; and sister, Marguerite Deardorff, Chandler, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Dwight Fouts. Funeral services are 11 am. Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 136 S. Elm St, Bunker Hill, with the Rev. Les Cooper of ficiating. Burial is in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Pipe Creek, Church of Brethren and of the Salvation Army. MARY E. CEDARS Mary E. Cedars, 98, West Mid dleton, and Penny Farms, Fla, died 1:25 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at her home in Florida. Arrangements are pending at Stout and Son Funeral Home, Russiaville, with a memorial service planned in the spring. NATHAN G. CORRELL Nathan G. Correll, 71, Logans port, died 6:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2008, in his residence. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mexico Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mi ami Baptist Cemetery. CHARLES W. ELTRINGHAM Charles W. Eltringham, 77, Kokomo, died 12:40 p.m. Satur day, Jan. 26, 2008, at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Lafayette. Funeral services are 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shirley Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St, with Pastor Mark Engle officiat ing. Garlinghouse, 87, formerly of Cayuga, Kingman, Terre Haute, Peru and Mexico, Ind, and a resident of Carroll ton, Mo., for the past three years, passed away at 3:30 pm. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilmont and Walton DeVerter. Frances was a 1938 graduate of Cayuga High school. She was a life member of the Perrysile Chapter OES 302. Frances worked 13 years for Dukes Hospital and was a supervisor of the Medicare Department in Peru, retiring in 1982. Frances was an avid Pacers and Colts fan, and enjoyed danc ing prior to Herbie's passing. Graveside services and burial are 2 p.m. EST Tuesday, at Miller Cemetery in Lodi, with Ken Ma jors officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services at DeVert er Funeral Home, 215 N.
