Funeral services for Mrs. Ewell Quirmbach, who suc cumbed Jan. 25 at Gerald Champion Memorial Hospital at the age of 69, will be held at the Hamilton Chapel Thursday, Jan. 29, at 4 p.m., with Bill Dettmer of ficiating. Mrs. Quirmbach was born April 9, 1911, in Alabama. A 21-year resident of Alamogordo, she was a retired English professor at NMSUA, where she taught for more than 10 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Terry L. (Mary) Smith of San Diego, Calif.; two cousins, Earl Philpot of Albuquerque, and Mary Cochran of Birm ingham, Ala. Friends may call at the Hamilton Funeral Home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 today.
