Father Bert Pepowski and Father Anthony Janik, who are both of the Order of Friars Minor, will be present during the meeting.Both men are ordained priests with experience in preaching, counseling and working with young people.MOST IMPORTANTLY, they are making their voices heard in current happenings within the Roman Catholic church and in their own personal lives.Rev. Pepowski, O.F.M. is a member of the Assumption Province of the Franciscan Fathers (Order of Friars Minor) headquartered in Pulaski, Wis. Born in Wausau, Wis., he also grew up in this area of the state.He entered the Franciscan Order in August of 1953. Since his entrance to the Order, he studied philosophy and liberal arts at St. Francis college in Burlington, Wis. He took his theological studies at Christ the King seminary in West Chicago, 111. He was ordained to the priesthood on May 27, 1961 at St. Raymond's Cathedral in Joliet.Throughout his life, Rev. Pepowski has been involved in the Preaching Apostolate.
