Newark Unified School Dis trict trustees are scheduled to begin a step-by-step updating of the district's administrative pol icy guide In a meeting at 7:30 pm. today in district offices, 5715 Musick Ave., Newark. Trustees have indicated they want to revise the policy guide, which deals broadly with almost all problems district officials, Trust handle, by devoting a por tion of each board meeting to the purpose. Superintendent Jack MacGre gor said the present policy was formulated for the now-defunct Washington Union High School District shortly before its dis solution four years ago and was adopted by the Newark Unified School District when it was formed. In other business, trustees will hear a progress report on activities of teachers and stu dents at Churchill High School, the district's two-year-old con tinuation high school, from Principal Nicholas Parks. They will receive a teller from John Santos, assistant’ su perintendent of buildings and grounds, applying for the post of John Kellerman, superinten dent of buildings and grounds, upon Kellerman’s retirement June 2.
