Roy Coriell Retired Farmer Dies TuesdayHoy J. Corieli, a retired farmerand Manito resident, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, in a Peoria hospital.His body was taken to the Johnson Funeral Home where funeral rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Joseph W.Hobbs.Burial will be in Meadow Lawncemetery.Born Dec. 27, 1877 in Delavan. he was a son of Isaiah and Aurelia Worstall Coriell. He was married to Mary Fischer Jan. 30, 1900 in Green Valley. He spent 2f years farming in the Fairfield, la., area, but in more recent years, had lived in the Green Valley—Manito communities, the past eight years being spent in Manito. He was a member of the Green Valley Methodist church.Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Arietta Hill, Man-5to; one brother, Fred Coriell, Green Valley; one sister, Mrs. Hay Bankenship, Centralia; and three grandchildren.Friends may call at the funeral home.
