Dudley have been appointed a committee, by the Greenwood Cham-| ber of Commerce, for the purpose of j co-operating in the effort to organize I a Delta Baseball League, and inaug-I urate a series of games for Greenwood.This is a move in the right direction, and should have the active and substantial co-operation of every citizen of Greenwood. A well organized league that would act on the square, I and make it impossible to repeat the methods that wrecked tne old Cotton States League, would be one of the best investments, both as a sport and business proposition, that could '■'! suggested.
