The deceased lived in New Hope community untli a few years past, when he •elected his land apportionment n«*fMcKey in the dividing up of Cherokee Nation. Here he raised * large family and his life is*blended with the early history and development of this section. Hit neighbors speak of him withreverence, and this is high praisewe mayall seek to achieve, honors that come to only the true and noble. This wealth and high position can not bring in them* 4elre9, Death came to this worthy old pioneer last Monday at his hotae near McKey. Funeral services conducted at New Hope by Rev. W. L.
