DEMOCRATIC meeting.Al an adjourned meeting of the Demo critic party of Claiborne county, bold at the Courthouse in Port Gibson, on Monday the 23J day of January, 1843, Dr. A. H. Pick, President of the previous meeting, took the Chair, and William G. Kkhacd was appointed Secretary, (T. D. JefTera, the former secretary,being absent,) when On morion, a committee of nineteen was appointed by the President to report resolutions expressive of the objectsof the meeting.Whereupon the President appointed the following named gentlemen as said committee:Wm. M. Smyth, Joaiah Randall, William Bridgera, Louis Oronly, James A. Gage, James S. Mason, Wm D. English, Henry W. Barnes, William Coleman, Dr. W. Rossman, William Clark, Shad-racb Foster, G. G.
