In one particular Italian town, Lucca, there is a colony of knitters with a special interest in Arlington Heights.Corrado’s Imports, newly opened boutique at 310 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights, is now bringing to this area an exclusive collection of knit dresses and suits made in Lucca.On Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 2 p.m., selections from the boutique are modeled'at Corrado’s Restaurant adjacent to the shop. A special Thursday, evening fashion show is specifically slanted to the ladies and begins at 7:30 p.m.ABOUT A YEAR ago Mrs. Carlita Myers began coordinating the knitwear for Corrado’s Imports and presenting fashion shows locally. Two months ago their new facilities were completed and the boutique opened.
