School For Growing AreaArchitect’s drawing of the new Kate D. Wiggin grammar school to be erected in the fast growing West Beverly district at W. 108th st. and S Sacramento ave.Architects are preparing the working plans for the new Kate D. Wiggin elementary school tobe located at W. 108th st. and S.Sacramento ave.Thomas Edward Cooke, architect, said the new school will have six classrooms and a kindergarten and general purpose room.The building is designed to be expandable should the need arise with added facilities to be added on to form an L-shaped structure.Face brick and some stone will be used for the exterior construction materials with aluminum used for the name sign on the 1 building.The building is to be of fireproof construction and will feature flourescent lights and acoustical ceiling material.The working plans are to be returned to the Chicago Board of Education in*the near future for approval* he said.citc1cIrf1
