T. H. I. E. PASSENGERS ASSIST IN FIGHTING FIRE.Save Residence of Harry Sanders FromSerious Damages.About a square yard of the roof of the house of Harry Sanders, east of town, was burned Tuesday morning when a tire was started by sparks from the flue. Members of the familv were in the house but were unaware of the tire until the passengers and traction employes from the ten o’clock interurban car came to their assistance.Noting that the fire was as yet undiscovered. the ear was stopped and about twenty men took fire extinguishers and soon put-out the fire.Mr. and Mrs. Sanders are very grateful to the people who discovered the fire and wh*o assisted in putting it out. for had it not been for them, the loss would have been much greater than it was.
