BONNER.Death laid his icy hand on William Bonner, on Sunday last, after an ill* ness of several months from Bright’s disease. Mr. Bonner came to Laurel from Sandersville a few years ago and lived on a little farm on the uth side of the city. He was one of the oldest citizens of Jones county and was widely known and highly re spected. At the time of bis death,he was 77 years of age and is survived by several children, and a number of grand children and great grand children. He was an uncle of Mr. T. B. Bonner, president of the Farmers* and Traders* Bank of this city. The remains were taken to Sanders-ville, where interment was had Monday afternoon.
