Mrs. Alderson was in her ninetieth year.The death of Mrs. Aldersoc removes one of the descendants of a pioneer fanv ly Jn West Virgrnla. ono that wa» foremost in the early days in shaping the destinies 0t the State. 8he was a grand-daughter of (Elder John A’dor*onlt; who organized the Greenbrier Baptist Church In 1781 the Art* Baptist Church erected west of the Alleghany mountain In this section.Mrs. Aldefiton wa* born August 4t 1819. at Amherst .springs. Virginia. With Her h«j*ba«*d, the Rev. L. A. Alderson. she moved to Atchison, Kan***, in 1868 and continued to reside Jn that sect. on of the country until the death of her husband In 1881, when she returned to the east and has made her home with Major J. Coleman Algernon for fh« greater part of the time ince returning.Of the eight cb Jdren born to the decedent and Her huband. only three survive. Those remaining are Major J. Coleman Ald*r*on, of Charleston; Lewis Allen AIJenon. of Sheridan, Wyoming and Mr*. C. J. White, of Atchfnfton.
