Pauline Rouse, 54Pauline E. Rouse, ,54, of 6460 W. 650 S., Rushville, died suddenly Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1996 at her home.Born May 14, 1941 in Connersville, she was the daughter of George and Alice Aldridge Smith. She married Cloyd D. Rouse Sr. Nov. 8, 1959, and he preceded her in death Jan. 26, 1984. She was an avid Euchre player. She was a member of Plum Creek Christian Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She had lived in Rush County her entire life.Surviving are two sons: Cloyd D. Rouse Jr. of Rushville and Louis E. Rouse of Connersville; one daughter: Martha Angeline Rouse of Bicknell; five sisters: Naomi (Mrs. Bob) Messmore and Betty (Mrs. Earl) Hinchman of Rushville, Mary (Mrs. Wilson) Fields of Waveland, Judy (Mrs. Bob) Stephenson of Glenwood and Becky (Mrs. Bob) Persons of Muncie; two brothers: Bobby Smith of Shelby County and Duane Smith of Seattle, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother.
