JESSE M’KLEROY DIES AT SOLDIERS’ HOMEMr. Jesse McKleroy, former u Coroner of Butts county, died at the Soldiers’ Home in Atlanta Tuesday morning. He resigned his office as Coroner a year or two ago and went to the Soldiers’ Home, where he had since lived.Mr. McKleroy was a native of Butts county. He was a Confederate veteran, having enlisted in Company I. Fourteenth Georgia, under Captain Felix Price, early in the war and served throughout that struggle in the army ofNorthern Virginia. He was 68 years of age.Surviving Mr. McKleroy is one daughter, Mrs. Anna Nevlin, of Griffin. The funeral was held Wednesday at Griffin.Mr. McKleroy had many friends here who regretted to hear of his passing away.
