j Remarkable Recovery,Eldora, la., Jan. 22.—(Special.)—[. Adam Keller, of Alden, in this county, has proved that a good constitution, good blood and a determination to get well will work wonders with the surgeon's aid when he has been injured and was as near death's door as was this 'plucky Hardin county man. Mr. Keller was kicked squarely in the face by a horse a few weeks ago, and practically every bone in the front of his face was displaced. His teeth wore turned fairly upside down, and both of his jaws were broken in a number of places. His cheek bones were horribly mutilated, and it was thought for a time that it would be impossible for the man to even recover and live, much less have a present^ able appearance again. His physician. and surgeon has been so aided by the will power, the good constitution and good blood of Mr Keller that the face has again been builded back into shape in its normal condition. There has been a slight change in Mr. Keller’s voice, the change being due to the change of position of some of the bones of the mouth, and barring this one change it is almost impossible to realize that the man had passed under such a blow as he did.
