Nettie Leedy and Cora Snapp spent Sunday with Mae Leifer. Chester and Hattie Brallier attended services at the German Baptist church east of Warsaw. Anna Freehly returned to Warsaw Sunday. John Magner was a school visitor Monday morning. They say a bull headed man re sembles heaven because there is no parting or dying. This may be true but we know a man who didn't re semble heaven when his neighbor told him that the hair dye was running down his cheek. Mrs. GW. Clemans is reported siel. Mr. and Mrs. Babcock and daughter visited Dell Orr Sunday. Wallace Wirkepatrick has a severe attack of lagrippe and lung trouble. Roy Tumphrey visited at the home of Jin Vaneur on Sunday. H. J. Beallier went to North Man chester Friday. James Stinson, Mesdaies Joe Williams and Vanator are on the sick list. Ira Leifer has received his dynamo and will have his plant in order in a few days. We hear some growling on the part of the Wilmot subscribers about the Record being short of “insides,” lately. A new set of ‘insides , larger than the old, has been scoured, and in future there will be no occasion for growing The trouble with the Record lately was due to no fault of the editor. The people in Chicago got their drinks mixed, and while they were sobering up the Pierceton Record was forgotten. Isaac, Drake,has purchased a fine road horse for his own private use. He says he is not going to drive plugs any more. All the folks from the corner took in the meeting at the Mock church Sun day night, it being the last night of the protracted meeting. Twelve more members were added to the church. The box supper at Gravel Hill Sat urday night was a grand affair. There was a big turn out of society folks and all the good things to eat immaginable. Miss Mare Daily, of Wooster, spent the past ten days in this neighborhood, calling on ye correspondent ‘and wife and we found her a very pleasant and agreeable young lady.
