KAMCKI. ENGLISHwas born Aug. 6, 1815, in Slipperyrock township, on the larm of his lather,Thos. English who was accidentally shot when .Samuel was 5 years of age. Mr. English I made his home with John Walker, dec’d, formerly of Slipperyrock township. Mr. j Englinh attended school in that township ( and received a common school education.Ai the age of 19 lie left home to learn the rarpeiiter trade, and worked at that for a number of years, when he went on a farm in Beaver county. In 1845 Mr. English came to these parts and went on a farm and farmed for about thirty years. In 1885 lie crossed the Rocky Mountains and remained there about six months, when he came home. In 1868 Mr. English and family .vent to Missouri, where they remained nearly two years, when they came hack to Pulaski township. Mr. English moved into the town of Pulaski about five years ago. lie operated a coal bank tor two years. He is now the landlord ot the Bhenango House in Pulaski, and entertains the traveling public. He was married to Sarah Kelly, of near Por-tersyibe, Butler county. March 17, 1842. Mrs. English is a daughter ot Aaron Kelly, who died about twenty years ago, aged 79 years. She was born Aug. 23, 1820, in Butler county, (Jonnoquenessing township, and is now enjoying the best of health. To the couple ten children were born, six of whom are living, as followsFrank, at aalem, O., married; Sidney, at Janesville, O., married; Alfred. at home; Aaron, at home; Tirzah, at home, and William, at home.
