Stoos, Larkin Wright and others. Thom Mr. Wrifhf we learn that a Company nee been formed, called the Oakaiooea Mid Western Railroad Company, and Its Artldes of Incorporation died. Gen. Hogh T. Reid and Mr. Perry, of the Valley Road, are respectively Pres’t and Vice Pree’t of the new t Company, whldh has An Its object to bolkf a Railroad from some point on . the D. V. Road, east of here, through Knoxville, Indianola, W Internet, and so on, to the Missouri river. The i project is nnder the entire control of the Valley Road, which is represented as now ready to prepare for branches .and Is supposed to be backed by the Pennsylvania Central. The new Company will aak local aid, by Taxes and otherwise, along the line. Mr. Perry returned home last week, with the Intention, as we understand, of putting on Engineers to txjd a preliminary survey, In the course of ten days or two weeks. Gen. Reid Is expected through hers within a few weeks, when further Information will be obtained.We gladly welcome every enterprise promising us mom Railroad connections, and have no doubt that, In due time the people of the Townships along the line will respond liberally to calls for aid to this end; but at present our hands are full. The Albia, Knoxvllleand Dee Moines 1 Railroad is under way, and nothing lt;should be allowed to Interfere with It. Our Taxes and Hubscriptions for It are the first demands upon us, and must first be met; and then, with renewed abilities, we will be readyfnr f.lliur untornriiiM
