The N. W. R. R* has not been able to j run any trains since Wednesday; the I snow plows have been at work, but the i cute have filled as fast as cleared, conse quently no mails, no freight, no papers, no roo/. This last is a serious trouble; the mill and elevators are stopped; as yet, no suffering is reported for lack of I it bul there will soon be if some does I not arrive soon. A freight engine came in from the west Thursday morning; it J has been compelled to stay; getting out I coal to keep the boiler from freezing, I men were obliged to cnt up a pile of ties I and burn them. IMr. R, C. Moran went to Omaha with J a load of cattle, he was detained by the I storm to his great regret. IFor many years this will be called the [ freest storm. *
