Terrible Accident*—Suajion, Ph., Jan. 28, i«71.—ThU morning at about half past sue o’dock, as the miners at the old bank of .T. W. Ormshy »fe Co., three miles east of this place, were entering the shaft, the rope which sus|K!ndod the cage io ■which they were being lowered, broke, letting the cage fall a distance of about one hundred and ten feet. There were live miners in the cage at tin? time, four of whom were killed niRtnntly and the other b-^ly injured. The names ofthe hilled are Ww. Crawford, John Shed den, Frank Watkins and M. McDonald; of uic wounded man, Win.
