Flag for the Seventh Virginia.—On Saturday Mr. Alexander offered a resolution which was adopted, in the House of Delegates authorizing and requesting the Governor to procure and present to the Seventh Va. Vol. Inf. a suitable flag with the following inscriptions: “ Romney, Oct. 26, “Bloemery, Feb. 13, 1862;” “Harrison’s Landing, July 4, 1862;” “Antietam. Sapt* 17, 1862;” “Fredericksburg, Dec. 13,1862;” .‘Chancellorsville, May 3, 1863;” “ Gettysburg, July 2d and 3d, 1863;” “ Briston Stai tion, Oct. 14, 1863;” “Locust Grove, Nov. 27, 1863.” The Seventh is a gallant regiment, and has seen much hard service, as the above list of engagements will prove. We are glad to see that their services are remembered and appreciated.
