on condition ot the puonc suoscriomg azuuu.The District Coroner, Dr Youl, held aninqueat at the Morgue on Friday, on the body of the unfortunate man Edward Atwell, who was drowned ■while bathing near the Botanical Gardens on the 14th instant. From inquiries made, it appears that the deceased was of sober habits, and that the fatal occurrence was entirely accidental. The jury returned a verdict that Edward Atwell was accidentally drowned while bathing..
