Hostage of Bank Bandit Trio DiesMARION, 0. (UP) — Mrs. Alma Hurr, held as hostage in her home for four hours while her husband was forced to help in Sunday’s attempted bank robbery here, died today in her home.The 66-year-old woman had been suffering from a nervous condition, her husband, Ralph, said. He said thp excitement of his abduction by the bandits apparently caused her to collapse and she was ordered to bed.Hurr accompanied two of the bandits to the National City Bank here while his wife and her mother were guarded by the third bandit in the. Hurr home. Police had been tipped off to the attempted robbery and all were rounded up in a police trap.The county prosecutor, meanwhile, announced the grand jury will be recalled next Monday to consider charges against Duane C. Packer, 28, William Ciola, 29, and Donald F. Kimberling, 23.The three, all of Marion, are held in jail under $50,000 bond each on charges of kidnaping to extort, conspiracy to abduct and confine, and bank robbery. Kidnaping to extort carries a maximum penalty of death in the electric chair.
